Yakety sax

Just wanted to let you know that the name of the theme song from Benny hill is Yakety sax by Boots Randolph.

LordXanthus responds:

I knew the name of the song, but not the artist behind it. I'll be sure to include that information. Thanks!

A masterpiece for it's time

This was the first flash video I saw years back and even though it doesn't really stand up to the more advanced movies today it is still very funny and well put together.

Absolutely Beautiful

I have always wanted to make a flash video that said that, but I really don't have the skills or talent. Thank you.

StarCraft FA 5 StarCraft FA 5

Pretty neat, but difficulty curve is disappointing

There's probably some trick that I'm not seeing, but I can't beat the Goliaths on the third level. It's okay when later levels require some creativity to beat, but it's a bit absurd that I'm getting killed before earning my first skill point. I'm open to the idea that I'm completely missing some vital strategy. The 'tutorial' doesn't really help, it seems like it's aimed at people who aren't having a hard time unlocking the advanced buildings.

The game suggests in the briefing for the first level that I build a sunken colony at the first opportunity, but other hints warn me that I only accumulate experience from enemies I kill with powers. It seems like one would only want to build a colony when it's absolutely necessary for survival.

I'm a bit put off by the "quit bitching" comments by the author. It probably sounds really edgy and cool to the people who aren't having problems, but to the people who are having trouble figuring things out, it's a bit insulting.

Reading the comments, it almost seems like people are playing different versions of the game. Some people don't seem to be having any problems but others like me are getting wiped out in the very beginning.

Could the author possibly create a youtube video or something detailing exactly how to get past the first few levels? I'm open to the idea that I just stink at this game, but it seems like I'm just missing something easy that's making it impossible.

Overall, the game looks like it's got a lot of cool features, I just wish I could last long enough in the game to see them.

harder than it should be.

The big problem that I had with this game is that the controls are a little sluggish, and the enemies pop up way to soon to react to. by the time you can shoot it down or get out of the way, the ships are usually right at you and another one has popped up. The graphics and sound were cool though. Good job!
